It is a rainy morning in late June at a Danish summer cottage. Large rain drops are hitting the wooden patio, while birds occasionally are singing in the background. After some time, the rain is calming down, and we can hear the winds from the ocean.
In this 1 hour rain recording, you can listen to tickling rain sounds on a shed. The rainwater tickles onto the shed roof and onto the gutter and runs down the downspout and drips onto the ground. The rain intensity varies throughout the track.

It is a sunny morning in June, and we are at Strynø – a Danish island in the South Funen Archipelago. In this track you can hear Strynø’s birds singing from the treetops, while wind from the ocean blows through the leaves with shifting intensity.
It is early morning at the summer cottage. Just before sunrise, parent birds start looking for food to their hungry chicks in the bird nest box at the cottage wall. While the bird chicks are crying for food, their parents fly back and forth to the bird nest box with something to eat. The other birds on the island are also waking up, and a pheasant screams and shakes its feathers, while doves and crows start talking from the treetops. The sun is rising and a bumble bee flies by to join the dawn chorus.
Listen to ducks in the duckpond and doves in the treetops on a sunny day along the river. Walk under an umbrella and listen to tickling raindrops. Listen to songbirds and walk by a local cafe just before opening hour. Sit on a bench as tree branches are squeaking in the wind and recreational runners are passing by. Rest a bit by the bridge crossing the stream.

The lighthouse fundament is eroding, as the waves and winds of the North Sea are gradually washing away the sand banks at the shore. Recently, the lighthouse was moved 70 metres away from the edge of the cliff, so for the time being, this old lighthouse has been rescued from falling into the ocean.
